Scholarships

Case Competition Awards
As part of its mandate to promote excellence in business and accounting education within local universities, the CPA Nova Scotia Education Foundation provides cash prizes to students participating in business program case competitions.
Case competitions allow students to apply their classroom learning with hands-on experience by solving real-world challenges. Teams are provided with a written case and are then tasked with providing a solution which will be presented to a panel of judges. Winners will be chosen based on varying criteria. The prizes are a wonderful incentive for students to bring their best effort to the competition and a great way to support their academic studies.
This fall, teams from each university in our province will compete for the newly created CPA Nova Scotia Education Foundation Case Competition Crown! More information will be coming soon.
CPA Students Enrolled with CPA Atlantic School of Business
The Foundation has established a fund to assist students, with a financial need, who are enrolled in CPA programs at the CPA Atlantic School of Business. Students must be currently enrolled in CPA Preparatory courses or the CPA Professional Program to be eligible. For more information, or to apply, click here.
Business Faculty CPD Support Program
As part of its mandate to promote excellence in business and accounting education within local universities, the CPA Nova Scotia Education Foundation provides access to CPA Nova Scotia’s Professional Development Program for Faculty. Each institution is provided with a maximum of 35 CPD Hours to be used towards professional development. This program is available to CPA members and non-member academics in the business faculty of the following institutions:
- Acadia University
- Cape Breton University
- Dalhousie University
- Mount Saint Vincent University
- Saint Francis Xavier University
- Saint Mary’s University
- University Sainte-Anne
