The CPA Nova Scotia Education Foundation, formerly known as “The Accounting Education Foundation of Nova Scotia”, was created in 1993 by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nova Scotia. The mission of the CPA Nova Scotia Education Foundation is to advance business and accounting education in Nova Scotia. We intend to achieve this goal by focusing on the quality and quantity of students entering the profession, supporting those who deliver accounting education, and inspiring the ongoing educational experience for members and students.
With support from our donors, the Foundation will provide scholarships to high school students enrolling in business programs and students enrolled in university with a declared major in accounting. We will continue supporting universities in Nova Scotia with ongoing professional development opportunities for faculty, and awarding prizes for case competitions within the business programs to support students.
CPA Nova Scotia and the Foundation's Board of Directors are very excited to be able to support future CPAs and faculty while helping to advance business education within the province of Nova Scotia.
